We need your support in raising $75,000 to support renovations of a new outdoor playground! The upgraded facility will be used by both Learning Together, and the Edenton Street United Methodist Church (ESUMC) Early Childhood Program.
Through your contribution, students will continue to learn and grow through play! Having time to play each day helps students develop physically, cognitively, emotionally, socially, and academically. Plus, inclusivity and accessibility are at the forefront of the new design, as we continue to improve early access to high-quality learning environments.
By partnering together, you have the chance to double your impact and support both organizations, in addition to other ESUMC programs that use the outdoor playground! Here's a few examples of what your donation will support:
- TWO new play areas with adaptive equipment that support infants and toddlers of all abilities.
- A new "Sand House that is ADA Accessible" for sensory play as students dig, push, build sand castles.
- Enhanced safety features and landscaping to ensure the playground is both a fun, and a secure environment.
- New dramatic play stations to foster creativity, imaginative play, and social-emotional skills.
- Interactive play areas with new musical instrument sets.
Donors will receive updates about the campaign through social-media and e-newsletters. Plus, an invitation to our "Edenton After Dark" social to unveil the new playground in May 2024!
In addition, we are currently working with the ESUMC Board of Trustees to develop a permanent legacy installation to recognize major donors. Don't miss the chance to leave a legacy and support the future of Raleigh's children!
With gratitude,
